Factors Associated with Self-Management Behaviour among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients

Objective: This study aims to analyse the associated factors with self-management behaviour in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Method: The used a cross-sectional approach total sample of 115 T2DM patients Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi, selected through multistage random sampling. Data were analysed Chi-Square test and logistic regression. Results: Respondents good knowledge 94 times more likely manage disease (Ex(b) = 94.26), those self-efficacy 54 practice behaviour. Conclusion: Factors greatly affecting are knowledge, self-efficacy, family support. Self-management can also prevent complications.
